Stayed there with our dog, property was very quiet, room was new, bed was comfy enough, great experience.

The interior design of this hotel and its rooms is a sorry testament to minimalism. Zero warmth. Nothing “wonderful” about the place or it staff - all of whom are clearly there only for the paycheck. There is a depressed mood about the place. Service levels did not impress. Alarmed to hear that the owners/managers of this hotel have purchased the Huntington Hotel at the top of Knob Hill. Will they make a mess of it as well?

Very helpful staff. Great locations nearby. The hills are rough but that's not your fault! Also, the water dispenser in the lobby is clutch. And again, the whole staff was so nice and helpful

The room was clean but it is an old building. The room had a musty dingy feel to it, the carpet probably could be replaced, I think it contributed to the musty smell. The lobby is really nice and inviting, staff were pleasant. Super safe area as well, surrounded by fancy hotels like the fairmont. Good location as well, we walked a few blocks to catch the bus. Only $5 for a day pass to take public transit, felt safe on the buses as well.
