I was able to get a lot of work done here using the WiFi. It’s super close a nice little park where I was able to workout, get good coffee, plus the Jewish bagelry near was excellent. There’s a small burger joint connected to the hotel, which was convenient for burgers, beer, and big salads.

Great location!

I stayed here 3 nights to attend performances at the War Memorial Opera House, but the performances were canceled due to coronavirus. The neighborhood has great restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful; however, the TV never worked for me, even after a staff member came to tend to it. Most of the other people staying there in March 2020 were French.

Hello, thank you for your very kind review. I am very sorry the TV would not work properly. Almost always we are able to remedy any TV issues. As a last resort we would offer a guest to move to a room with a working TV although we realize this can be an inconvenience.

Pleasantly Surprised

I was plesantly surprised by this place. It is an old building, but it has been spruced up both inside and out. The room was clean and updated. Staff was great. It was generally quiet and I slept well in a comfy bed. I expected it to be a little scary at night, but it was not. The continental breakfast was typical (though the coffee wasn't the best). I liked that the parking was included (rare in SF). We were able to walk to Market Street, Orpheum Theater, City Hall, etc. The only downside was the room was so small it was difficult to manuever around each other (perhaps due to the King size bed). I would stay here again but choose a Queen size to give more room.

Rooms very clean .. staff very professional.. next door burger place excellent 10 min walk very good Thai restaurant

By the outside you may be thinking twice about where you booked, but open the door and you’ll be pleased you did. The room was very clean, a/c worked, bed was very comfortable and staff was friendly.

Room and facility, while clean, need maintenance. Door had a gap around it big enough to see through and bathroom caulk/grout had gaps. Shower head needed fixing.
