I wasn't going to review this hotel, but it was very relaxing.
Humphreys Half Moon Inn is secluded in a boat marina on Shelter Island. You will take a little drive but not too long.
First thing we enjoyed was the peace and quiet even though a live concert was going on.
The rooms were comfortable feeling. We had queen beds.The bed was a little firm for us. We like ours much softer. It was very awkward to get to the bathroom since the bed was so close to the wall.
You can book a king size bed.
The property looks like Apartments in Hawaii.
When you stay there they'll give you a coupon for certain discounts.
If you book a basic room you'll get a little patio, but if you book The Classic rooms you'll get a view of the marina.
They have a live entertainment stage for concerts if you're into rocking out.
A short Walking distance to the restaurant and other necessities.
We did have breakfast at the restaurant. Comes with a view of the boats and blue sky.
As always prices will vary when you book the room resort fees(more ways to take our money). We got it at a good rate. It was more expensive than most hotels, but worth the stay.
