I was disappointed in the condition of our room. The grounds were pretty & well kept as was the lobby. The fire pit was broken. The windows in my room were very old and couldn’t be opened which was particularly unappealing as the room was half underground and carpeted and smelled very musty. The room definitely needed a dehumidifier and new flooring other than carpet. There was also cracked tile in the shower. They seem to be understaffed as there was no housekeeping and when we checked in I found three hairs in different places on the walls of the shower. There was also a big build up of ice in the mini-fridge.

The pool area was cold and there was no hot tub. Also there was only grab and go breakfast, when stated there was full hot breakfast available.

I’ve come to rely on Rockport Inn and Suites when visiting the Boston area and Cape Ann for a basic, but very clean and comfortable and reasonably priced accommodation. The rooms are showing their age a bit, but the property as a whole is very attractive with a large, pleasant breakfast room with good, basic options for breakfast. The highlight of the property is the pool and fire pit area. Also, the windows open! It’s an easy walk into the heart of town, and the quiet neighborhood is lovely just for strolling.

I really liked the area and you were able to park in front of your room, the only thing that wasn't very good was the buffet breakfast.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The property itself is attractive and well landscaped, however the rooms are different. I had two multi-night stays over two weeks, I was there for work. They claim they are pet-friendly, and as soon as I walked into both rooms, it was obvious they were pet-friendly. The rooms stunk and the couches were stained and gross. I had two different rooms and they were the same. The rooms were tidy and picked up, but the general feel of the room was gross. Sadly, I won't be back. Too bad because there isn't a lot of other options. Far too pricey for a dirty room!

The room had a slight musty smell and I didn’t realize that the suites were outside (almost like town homes ). I would have liked to know there were options to stay in the hotel portion . But staff were friendly and it was a short but overall pleasant stay. Clean and relaxing/peaceful.
