The room was dirty. The bathroom amenities in the room were used. They are under renovations which I knew making my reservations, but it looked like the place was just overall unkempt. Not worth the money spent.

Room was clean as far as what cleaning person can do , room has musty mildew smell, air conditioning made awful loud rattle vibration noise all night , coffee pot filter did not work so couldn’t have coffee in room , no night table on one side of bed ,only two plug in for charging phones one was on a wall you had to put phone on floor and one on the only nightstand/lamp. Night receptionist Tom (5/31/24 )was a wonderful kind man who was very accommodating and friendly, morning receptionist woman ( 6-1-2024) didn't smile or look at me or ask how our stay was . They are remodeling but looks like they had stuff out back for years cause all the brand brand new sheet rock is water damaged as well as broke , I did not mark stars off for this only the other stuff written above .

Sad. My wife & I had great memories of this place years ago & booked 3 weekday nights even though they made it clear that construction was planned this year-2024 and next-2025 (pool & an entire wing closed). The good & bad: While the staff was professional, friendly and went out of their way to help, the hotel is very deteriorated, as is the exterior grounds. While the actual room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the rest functional (tv, fridge, etc), to get there you must walk through a dingy hallway over a old, unclean carpet, some new carpet squares lifting. We saw no work in progress. Skip this until at least 2026 ...if rehabbed by then.

Easy access from highway. Walking distance to diner and lounge. Property undergoing renovations. Unsightly areas in and outside of property. No front desk staff at night. I would say that the price for a room was too high given the conditions of the rooms and hallways.

For $50 a night it's fine but never again.

Overall very good. Close to highway and ease of getting in and out. Decent continental breakfast. Clean room
