I travel to Portland frequently for work and have been systematically trying hotels in downtown Portland. Hotel Heathman is my favorite so far! The building is beautiful & convenient to the office I visit as well as numerous restaurants & shops. My room was comfortable & clean. I was disappointed that I didn’t receive daily housekeeping though— I would expect that from a hotel of this caliber. I typically keep my room neat, & I’m fine using towels for multiple days, but I used the French press for coffee & was unsure how to dispose of the grounds for use the next day. Plus, I ordered room service for breakfast one morning & no one ever picked up the tray. These issues are not deal breakers weighed in the balance of my overall good experience, though. I will stay there again.

We come back to the Heathman every time. The staff is so welcoming and lovely. You provided us this time with two upgrades and we truly appreciated it! Thank you to all, the front desk, the valet, and the bar and restaurant staff.

It was very comfortable and beautiful. It was not quiet though, noise from maintenance room next door was very loud. Was supposed to get a bottle of wine with our booking but nobody knew anything about that. Other than that we enjoyed it.
