We had a wonderful stay at Riu Palace Riviera Maya! The staff was great, everyone was extremely quick to give us great service and met all of our needs well! The employees made sure we had a great time! The one down side was the food. It was not terrible, just really subpar. Breakfast and lunch were decent. It was all tolerable but we found ourselves traveling off the resort to get dinner.

This was my family’s first time staying at Riu Palace Riviera Maya and we LOVED it! The staff was attentive, and all very nice. The food, for an all-inclusive, was great (I know a lot of people complain about the food at these places but you can’t expect Michelin quality food out of buffets). The entire property was beautiful and loved that we could walk around the Playacar area totally safe. Highly recommend!

Property was kept very clean everywhere staff were all very friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble rooms were fantastic and the restaurants were all very good 10 / 10

Small enough to walk quickly everywhere but elevators are not easily accessible from lowest level area
