We were given a room (103) with a faulty toilet. They couldn’t move us until the next day so we dealt with plunging and multiple extra brush attempts through the night and next morning. The staff was helpful, especially Ryan the maintenance man. We were advised we would be given a discount by multiple staff members. It wasn’t until the next day after we had checked out, that we found out that the inconvenience of plunging and having to move all of our stuff to another room was only worth a $50 refund. Feels cheap. The room was $200/night and I feel we should have been refunded at least 1/2 of one nights stay. When we visit the area again, we will not be staying there.

Reasonably priced and close to everything in Petoskey. We were there with a soccer team and it’s nice to be able to be in a very conveniently located hotel. Very safe which is also key when travelling with kids on a team.

Non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Hair on the bedding. Very old hotel. Very expensive for the rooms. Very noisy with guests outside late at night after midnight. I would not stay here ever again

My TV didn’t work, had to get it “fixed”. The room was ok but not the cleanest

Service and breakfast is really good. Clerk was always friendly. On the not so nice side, the aisles of the hotel was kind of dirty, like with grease, it needs a better presentation, need to be more clean.

Their buffet is open 6am-6pm.
The view is beautiful.
2 buildings parallel to the lake view on a small hill.
The only problem is the room key needs to be programmed every time you go out :(

Very clean rooms. Nice cafe, no charge for meals. Very nice, helpful staff.
