Pros :The property has gone through some recent renovations which was nice as some of the recent reviews made me believe that only some of the rooms were updated. Check in for me was quick. I had 2 rooms reserved and we got them side by side. Breakfast was great, lots of options. The area in Overland Park was easy to get to and parking was good, however they shouldn't be charging $7/day to park, I feel like this is a nickel and dime charge and should be re-evaluated. Cons or personal dislikes This hotel is close to a sports complex so there were a lot of kids ball teams here over the weekend. This is more of a parenting or coaching issue but the staff could have also intervened and asked adults to keep their kids under control. Kids in the running around the hotel unsupervised, hitting all the buttons in the elevator, yelling in the common areas. They were literally running through the hotel, small kids (5-8 years old). This lasted from early evening until about 10PM. I would think at some point the staff would ask adults to contain their kids as to not disturb other guests in the hotel. This was in other reviews as well, so if this will bother you I would call and ask if they have any large groups or teams before you book.

This place had roaches in two different rooms it wasn't until they moved me on the 5th floor that it got better! I think it is a shame that if you boo with a third party your treatment is different even if you are a rewards member. The front desk advised they Couldn't refund my money because I had booked through a third-party but when I called Expedia, they asked they didn't agree to give me my money back because because they gave me another room. I had to change my room in the middle of the night and earlier that day would not stay on lower level floor.

Very cleqn and friendly. But can you reevaluate the pet policy please. Woke up to the people above our room dog barking and whining and them arguing with their kids. Other wise was a nice hotel outside those 2 issues

This property needs to be updated room had soft ceiling in shower falling down

Stopped for work .. place was sold out with unsupervised kids roaming around all night .. reception was busy and all snacks gone immediately with no restock and breakfast was even worse … nice place but don’t stay if sports stuff is booked u won’t enjoy your stay !!!

Staff was nice and place was clean. Only one elevator was working the whole time for a busy hotel so the wait was long everytime. Buzzing in the walls would come and go, almost like a cellphone on vibrate was stuck in the wall. Fire alarm went off a few times one night. No announcement was made to let us know everything was ok or not. Guests were not made to leave the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again because overall the place was clean and quiet enough with the place full of youth sports players. Good breakfast food selection and parking was easy as well.

You know the breakfast is really good. But the rest of my stay was a ghetto hot mess. The alarm kept going off, there was a fight, loud music playing, my room wasn’t ready, must I go on. This Embassy is in a good area but the hotel hospitality needs upgrading.
