Property was clean, room clean, beds comfortable. Having the shuttle to/from the park was convenient. I was surprised about the parking fee, $29 a night. Maybe I missed it when i was looking to book. Nonetheless, should be included with the hotel stay. Just another way for Universal to make $$$

I chose this property based on the reviews I read, hoping for a quiet place to relax in the afternoons. I was okay with the minimalist look, but the rooms are very stark and there was nowhere to hang your hand towels. We had a view of the Volcano Bay but honestly didn't spend any time looking out the window. It was very clean and the staff very polite and helpful. Starbucks was very quick and convenient in the morning. The pizza and chicken wings were very good. The pool was smaller but there were fewer people so it was okay. But the music was strange and very loud, so we chose to go to the Sapphire Falls pool instead. And if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room further from the elevators, they make a lot of banging noises. We used the water taxi at the Sapphire Falls as well, which was very convenient. The Bar 17 Bistro is worth visiting, nice drink menu and beautiful views at night.

Compared to Cabana Bay which we stayed in last year we found the Aventura a much more relaxed. It has a proper hotel feel to it and the food court is amazing value compared to the theme parks. The only down side for us in the “techy” hotel was half the usb sockets in the room were not working , hopefully we just unlucky but with so many gadgets needing powered these day that could have been an issue. Transport to the parks was easy with a bus and if preferred a 5 minute stroll to the neighbouring Sapphire Falls to use their boat. Would certainly stay here again.

Claudette/Nicole checked us in. She was wonderful! Friendly, informative and professional. Can’t say enough good things about our experience. Food options at Urban Pantry were very good for breakfast and dinner.

Easy access to Universal Studios via buses which pull up directly in front of hotel every 10 minutes.

Boring and no activities after working hours. No microwave in rooms and convenience store overpriced!
