Room was lovely and large, overlooking the street. Central position in gorgeous Orange opposite a park and next to a shopping centre. I realise they were doing renovations but unfortunately the bathroom and toilet situation was unbearable. The combined male/female toilet had 2 open urinals - so as a female i couldve walked into a man doing his business. Luckily this didnt happen. One shared shower for all men and women in rooms without bathrooms.

Unsure how to rate this, as the hotel does not have my booking record booked through Expedia (first time in my travel), give me a bit of surprised. Unsure about which party fault of overbooked maybe, luckily i arrived upon check-in time and not in a hurry. The hotel service staff and Expedia response were quick and helpful to get me a different room. I appreciate very much their patient and service, particular the Hotel receptionist/bar staff and Expedia relocation phone customer service. Thing maybe different if i arrived at night or if i am in a hurry. I maybe hesitate to use Expedia hotel booking in the future.

If you're looking for a comfortable stay right in the heart of Orange, look no further than the Royal Hotel. Nestled conveniently close to pubs, shopping centres, and all the bustle of the city center.
I recently booked a room for a Saturday night, needing accommodation for myself and a couple of friends. We opted for a room with three beds – two singles and one queen – and were pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the rates. In a city where weekend rates can sometimes be eye-watering, the Royal Hotel offered a more than reasonable price for our stay.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the friendly staff who made our check-in process smooth and hassle-free, which immediately set a positive tone for our stay.
The room itself was spotlessly clean, with a refreshing simplicity. The beds were comfortable and provided a restful night's sleep.
One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's proximity to various attractions. Being situated in the city centre meant that we were within walking distance of numerous pubs, restaurants, and shops, making it incredibly convenient to explore everything Orange has to offer.
