This property is mis represented by Expedia. It is run down. It looks like homeless are living or have been in the building. A black tarp sunk in and over the pool, the bar and restaurant is closed. There was spray painted graffiti in the elevators, no operational ice machine and smelly stained hallway carpets. Our room was remarkably clean and we stayed because of our late arrival. Do not recommend. 12/24/2023

This is a great place to stay! I stayed here on a whim when the roads became icey and foggy while I was Christmas shopping. Sure it’s not the most luxurious but it sure has a beautiful location - tucked into the trees makes you feel safe. And fancy enough to give off a classy vibe. There was a live band in the lounge that night which was fun and I got to sleep in without any problem because the bed was so comfortable!!! All in all a great stay at an affordable price!

Say to say that the restaurant/bar was closed permanently as of 12/22/2023. And the hotel is being closed permanently on the 27th. We had planed to have dinner and drinks there but had to go elsewhere. The property it beautiful. We told that the own sold the hotel and talk was it being torn down 😞
and apartments to go in its place. Our room worked for our need. Shower had low pressure.

Since they’re planning on closing the place you can tell staff just stopped caring some time ago. Thought it was pretty ridiculous to have to pay a “resort fee”, when your not able to utilize anything, pools closed, bar opens for a short bit, no hot tub, didn’t need to use laundry service, but still have to pay for the extras.

Old hotel

Property is quiet dated, but wonderful location in the woods close to the Capitol.
Was our regular stop when visiting. Sadly, this stay the bar had closed early, heater was loud and toilet kept refilling.
