Everything was very DIY but is clean and is nice to have your private space. The price is the best thing of it all for 1- 2 nights maximum.

Loved the thought they put into the services in the 3rd floor sitting space. Nice place to stay next to the beautiful historical castle. Beds are good too would recommend this

This was my kid's favourite hotel during our two week trip through Japan. They loved having the cushions for sitting on the floor at the low table. It was a great location, right across the street from the bridge to Odawara Castle, you could even see the castle from the large windows in the room. We had a family room with two big futon mattresses, and they were the most comfortable beds we slept on during our stay. Travelling with three children, I appreciated having our own toilet and shower. It was also handy to have a fridge and kettle in the room, and easy access to a microwave on the floor above. It took about 15 minutes to walk to the hostel from Odawara Station.

The hotel is 10 min walk from the train station.
The room is very clear.
From the window, I can see people entering the park opposite joining some local ceremony.
However, the sound proof is not very ideal, very dependant if family with kids is living the room next to you.
Didnt visit the bar at 3rd floor and the roof as well given that it was raining.
Overall, i would recommend if you dont care so much about the noise you may experience.

Posted 30 Mar 2023 on HotelsWe were very pleased with our stay on this hostel. We had the minamo room for two os us. The location of the hostel is super convenient. Right in front of Odewara Castle which we visited at night and again early on the morning while cherry blossoming was at its peak. The train station is within walking distance. Very friendly staff on site.
