Great location close to train to Old Nice. There was renovation noise when I was staying there, and only sheer curtains at night - so I had to wear an eye mask. The room had a damp mildew smell to it. I would stay here only for a short term stay.

The room has indeed sheer curtains, but not only; all of our rooms are equipped of an electric rolling shutter, that you can control with a button by the window or bed.Thanks to your comment about the smell, we made it checked out and a water leak from above the room was found. The rooms are a bit small but the balcony is great. Get the room with the sea side view it’s totally worth it. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would be happy to stay again.

Ok for a short economical visit
Posted 21 Sep 2023 on HotelsThis hotel was very dated and our room was not very clean, with mould in several places our bed was so close to the sliding door that you had to crawl over the bed to get out, the sliding door handle was a hazard as if you got up in the night you could catch your arm on it. The television was directly above a chair and if you got up there was a chance you could catch your head on a corner of it. The breakfast area was very cramped. The picture of the view from the hotel was misleading. Our room was looking out onto the car park and the dustbins. The balcony was very cramped also. We did say it was a special occasion 50th Wedding Anniversary but was given their worst room. There was one bar Wi-Fi and no bedside light to read. There was continuous noise from upstairs and we were on their only floor! It is a long way from central Nice. The staff on duty were very polite and tried their best. When the Manager came in the morning we asked to cancel the rest or our 9 night stay but had to cancel with Hotel.com which they did but cost us £50 in phone calls. The hotel is ok for one maybe two nights if you want to be near the airport but other than that we would not recommend it. The photographs do not give an accurate view of this hotel.

Indeed, our double standard rooms (the category you chose to reserve on hotel.com) leads to the courtyard, as it is explained in the description of the room. For another view, It was possible to reserve a Superior leading to the Horse racetrack, or a privilege or Junior Suite for a sea view. The center of Nice is 20min away by car from the hotel, or 17min ride from the Cagnes sur Mer train station (which is 10min away from the hotel by walk).Due to a recent take over of the establishment, we are planning of uploading most recent and better quality pictures.Best,

An absolutely wonderful little boutique hotel in the heart of Cagnes-sur-Mer ! A short walk to shops, restaurants, cafés, the rocky beaches, and the train station. The staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful.
Maybe I just don't understand French toilets or plumbing, and it's weird to say, but the toilet was the only thing that was not great.

We loved staying at Tierce, it was super easy getting around (provided you have a car), everything was relaxed and the beach was directly across the road. The room had a nice view of the ocean. There were lots of nice restaurants about 1km down the street or a couple of places directly on the block. If you want a great breakfast you should go to Maison Craime which is worth the walk.
Special mention to Vivian who was super cool and easy the whole time, he deserves a pay rise.
