The hotel was clean and comfortable. Guest services was friendly and responded quickly. The hotel is very convenient to the Newark Penn Station and great for those traveling by train. However, the passageway for pedestrians connecting the two is closed on the weekend with no sign explaining. The traffic around the hotel is extremely heavy, and there was insufficient area to temporarily park and unload suitcases. There were quite a few people begging/asking for handouts around the site, but there seemed to be several security officers.
