The property is located perfectly, the staff is great. I took off one star because the wifi was terrible, unable to connect for work. Everything else was great... loved the cookies.

The room’s temperature is not well regulated. When outside temperatures drop, the automatic heating triggered inside the room makes it very stuffy. We have discussed it at length with staff and it serms that they cannot do anything about it. This defect may affect our future planned stay at The Benjamin.

This property is under construction at a state I could not believe. They should not be allowing guest in the property. It's not just like there's banging during the day. They've rerouted the entire lobby, the elevator is a full of workers covered in dust and dirt. The lobby smells of acetone and paint, it's awful. I wrote the manager and I never heard a word back.

BEWARE DO NOT STAY HERE TILL AFTER THE RENOVATION. Total chaos and totally unacceptable to remain open during this major renovation. No Services available - Single Elevator and its shared with construction workers. There is another elevator open into filthy smell stairwells. Rooms old shabby with limited resources Construction in the area [ PLAZA Hotel renovation] has trucks backing up BEEP all hours of the night and terrible noise and traffic during the day. Doormen and Bellman only interested in offering private overpriced services to airport etc - sleazy RESORT FEES Charged in a HOTEL WITH NO BAR NO ROOM SERVICE NO SERVICES
