Loved the old style, the jazz bar. We were told a car booked through the hotel to the airport would be flat rate w/o any other surcharge and was quoted $105. However the driver added tax etc and charged us $114. Not a whole lot more but was misled.

Great NYC vibe walking into the hotel. The recreation / lounge on the main floor is very comfortable with room to move. The main floor bar sits at the back in a closed off room, separating the bar from the rest. Live jazz at night goes towards midnight and all room doors open into the courtyard so the music can be enjoyed throughout the property. Limited but very filing breakfast offered for those running off to meetings or events early.

Loved this place. Even when the music is blasting in the atrium, there's a clever white noise system in each room to muffle the sound! Staff was above & beyond... when I explained I had scheduled a zoom meeting right at checkout time, they were wonderful about accommodating that. And of course the surrounding area is the best. Would stay at the Roxy again in a heartbeat.
