The staff was slow, unfriendly and in general disinterested in me as a guest. I had to wait several minutes at the front desk to even be recognized while staff was on the phone. One desk staff member even refused to help me check in saying he checks you in while he was on the phone. The room was adequate for its purpose, but the bathroom was in serious need of remodel. Paint peeling from the tube and it was very slippery with no mat.

I decent place to stay not far from New Orleans but be prepared to pay $250 hold and a parking fee.

Thank you for your feedback, at La Quinta we hear what you are saying. We do apologize for the inconvenience at the hotel, as we strive to better the property parking fees have to be in place. Once again thank you for choosing La Quinta.

Upon arrival, the front desk receptionist was very nice and kind and our check in was swift and easy, however, she asked us to put a card on file and charged out card $235 as a refundable incidental fee. And told us parking was $12 DAILY! I found that crazy considering we are familiar with the area, and it’s not busy enough or close enough to downtown for paid parking, it’s also inconvenient for those that are only stopping by to rest during road trips. As soon as we got on the elevator to get to our floor there was a giant black trash bag that sat there most of the day… to be honest it smelled… pretty bad too. Once entering our room we noticed the shower paint was chipping and seemed dated, under the bathroom sink looked kind of dirty/stained. As well as the carpets not being clean there was some crumbs of what looked like old food along the corners and sheets had some slight staining. The pool area was nice and told of guests were enjoying it. Patio furniture also seemed a little dated. It’s a nice little place it just needs a face lift. And free parking

I ran out of toilet paper one night. Went to desk to ask for a roll and was told that management did not allow front desk staff access to that due to fear of theft….. seriously??? I had to go to the gas station and buy my own. This is a ridiculous policy. If they are that worried about toilet paper get more cameras!! The next night the front desk worker was still apologizing for management.

Property should be an absolute insult to the Wyndham trade name..exterior dark and dingy looking..doesn't look like a hotel..looks more like. Slum Lord apartment building..check in was fine..once in room..first thing killed a roach crawling on wall.. then to bathroom and see mold mildew sink, tub, and at least an inch of nasty black moldy stuff in corners of floor..I was actually afraid to go to sleep
