Property is old but a lot of properties are old so it wasnt like a new modern hotel. It was decent they do have a security guard at the door for the late night crowd. Doesn't allow just anyone in have to show cardor proof of stay. Room was clean bed was comfy. Theres a mini fridge to save all the good leftovers in. Close walking distance to mostly everything. Would definitely return very reasonable pricing as well

Great property and location. One block from Bourbon Street. Nice and spacious room. The pool is very small though. Wonderful staff.

During my stay at the Astor hotel I was without hot water for 2 days. In addition to this on Wednesday morning at 3 am an alarm sounded and ordered me to evacuate. The staff offered no explanation and instead barked commands at the guests. Overall this was a very unpleasant stay and I will not be back.

The property is old and dated. The floors are slopped, the door to the room we had was hitting at the top so we had to shove the door open and close every time we used it. The only light that worked in the bathroom was over the shower, the light around the mirror didn’t work and did not even have light bulbs in it. When I used the hairdryer with the outlet on the lamp, it was so hot that it actually burned my hand. There was water issues being dealt with during our stay, so hot water was limited 2 of the days from 9am-6pm.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Staff is polite and security is appreciated. The men in the front are quick to help with a cab or luggage. It's my second time staying here and it won't be my last.

They offered breakfast and they do not have it for free. Definitely false advertising.
