Staff is friendly and helpful. Security is top notch.
Rooms could definitely use some refreshing as the room we were in was worn down. Family of 4 felt cramped in an ocean view room. Bathroom is very small and cramped. More eating options would be nice. More streamlined access to rooms and elevators would be helpful in lieu of fumbling to find keycard every time you want to go somewhere.

House cleaning needs more staff so supplies could be available earlier for guests that’s staying multiple nights. They also need up to date equipment in there rooms and carpet cleaning.

Property is well taken care of. Felt really safe with security walking around monitoring areas including parking decks. Food prices and drinks on site are pricey since gratuity is automatically added but decent. Overall we had a great stay. There are restaurants on site and within walking distance.

We stayed on 5/19-5/21/24. The check-in was perfect. Lots of help, informative and kind staff. The room was clean with extra towels. A little musty due to the humidity but not the fault of hotel. Once the air was on it was fine. The pools were well maintained and the beach was right out front. Didn’t use restaurant. Parking wasn’t far. Had security at night idk about daytime wasn’t a problem. I would stay again. I like the family feel of Surfside. You’re going to have to drive either way to get to attractions. We had a great time.
