Likes: Right in front of Munich Train Station, access to lots of shops, restaurants and near Marien Platz, has a restaurant and bar. Room is bigger than most Europe rooms. Excellent water pressure and shower. Dislikes: Dirty area as its in front of a train station, hallways are a bit dark, ac not working or weak (good luck in summer) and price is higher than average. Overall, I think its an ok hotel for the experience. My young adult kids loved the quirkiness of the hotel and thats the vibe of the hotel. Staff btw - is excellent.

Staff are friendly and our room was spacious..we got an x large room. Breakfast was fine. My main concerns are.....hotel is shabby and room needs updating. Towels are old and bedding is ok but not premium as advertised. A 3 star hotel

It was very dark in the hallways and no glasses provided in the room

Location: 2/5 close to Train station so very convenient but the area is dirty, noisy with lots of homeless people. There are lots of people who sit outside the hotel to smoke. I didn't feel safe in the area as a girl. Lots of restaurant and shopping close by. Service: 2/5 check in time was at 3pm, we came at 6pm and they said they gave away our room already. The room which I reserve and fully paid for months in advance. What make it worse was the staff was not apologetic at all. I was down graded to a much smaller room. When ask what is the price difference since my original room cost more she said she was not sure. Room on 1st floor : 1/5 it is clean, tiny, and LOUD. I am a very small girl and I have a hard time moving around in this room. There was no space for luggage at all. Worst is how loud it is through the whole night. I can hear everyone outside while they smoke infront of the hotel. I heard F**k you screaming at 2 am. I hear drunk people screaming at 3 am. The bed was very comfortable but the loud noise outside make it impossible to have a good night sleep. The shower is see through so not a good room for friends and family. Room on 3rd floor: 4/5 it was clean, quiet and bigger. Only thing is the shower was see through from the bed. Not a good place to book with friends or family unless you are ok with showering nake infront of them. There was no curtains to cover. Breakfast 5/5: absolutely delicious and staff was wonderful.

Excellent location right at the train station and very close to city tour locations Breakfast was very good and they even had American coffee. The room was large and had a walk in shower.

Staff is great - helpful, friendly. Hotel has character- in a very good way. The only thing we did not care for was the way the curtains hung in our room - hard to explain, but draping down from the ceiling over part of the bed. Got in the way a bit. Not all the rooms have this so it can be avoided if it’s not for you. Overall a great stay - highly convenient location.
