Everything about the room was lovely EXCEPT the bed and bedding. All of the pillows provided were too high for me and I had a sore neck in the morning. The bed slumped to the middle.
Oh and the tea selection wasn’t very good.

Sorry, which motel were you talking about, the standard studio units in Central Motor Lodge has been upgraded to Sleephead Elegance commercial-grade bed and mattress three months ago.

Friendly & helpful. Really helped to have a simple stovetop on top of microwave to cook with. Especially relieved to have the large grocery store open on & around public holiday vs Matamata which had theirs closed. Very walkable to eateries & bakery. Cute town.
