Upon arrival a staff asked what I needed, I asked for another drink and her response was… it’s raining you go get it. I was appalled and questioned my hotel selection. Bottom tear alcohol selections. Cleaning service was VERY pushy On checking out at 12 on a Monday… overall enjoyed Jamaica but expected better service for the price point.

I will never return to this or choose any Hyatt property. After a potentially serious security incident, an untruth was shared with by the attending security officer. During my stay, despite repeatedly asking, I was never given an explanation as to the reason he did that. I had contacted security staff, and met with the security and concierge manager for a response. My post-stay Hyatt complaint related to the actions and inactions of staff and management was referred back to the hotel. I was finally informed by the Guest Relations manager that it, ie., the officer's shared misinformation, "was not best practice" and would be handled with the team member. My unresolved complaint about the concerning behavior of the Concierge manager stands. The end result of my written complaint to Hyatt, was an offer from the hotel for me to be upgraded with preferred club/butler amenties on a future stay in an "opportunity to serve me better." Because my holiday was spoiled and my trust lost in the Secrets/Hyatt brand, I do not want to return to the property. Their unsatisfactory final offer" stands and a refund for that 4 night stay refused. According to Hyatt Consumer Affairs, it is only the property's decision. Therefore, a guest can have an unhappy stay, and be invited back to the place they know you can't trust. No thank you. I will return to staying at Bonvoy properties where I have over 537 loyalty nights. I can trust Bonvoy!

Came to Jamaica for a surprise family trip and was absolutely devastated by how terrible of an experience this trip was! My family paid over $2,000 to stay in the preferred wild orchid side of the resort.the preferred section is supposed to have updated rooms, a private beach and other amenities well our rooms smelled of mildew, had stains in the bed and the furniture was broken! Our shower also leaked constantly on the floor because the grout was missing! Also the staff was racist and ignored my family multiple times! There were occasions where we would go to the bar or see live entertainment and white people that came in after us were greeted promptly while it took over an hour for anyone to even offer us a water! As a black family we were so excited to experience our vacation but it was so sad to see the micro-aggressions from the staff! A white person would be in line behind us and the staff would go right over to them and ignore us! This happened numerous times during our stay and we were deeply disturbed by this! Staff members would also tell us to move from areas we paid for to make room for other white People. it began to rain and one of our family members was pregnant so walking around to eat dinner wasn’t safe for her to do in the rain and we requested the golf cart transportation which we were supposed to receive but they never came and we were told to just walk! Afterwards we saw other people being picked up which proves that golf carts were available!

The property grounds are lovely and well kept. The room we stayed in was spacious however the bathroom shower area needed a little updating. Otherwise it was a great stay and the food was good.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wild OrchidResort and it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The resort's stunning architecture seamlessly blends with the natural beauty of its surroundings, creating a serene and luxurious atmosphere.
The accommodations were nothing short of spectacular. My room was spacious, elegantly furnished, and offered breathtaking views of the ocean/mountains/whatever the surrounding landscape is. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the plush bedding to the carefully curated amenities.
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience. The resort boasts a diverse range of culinary options, from gourmet fine dining to casual poolside fare. Each meal was a culinary delight, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and innovative presentations.
