It is in a laneway so not the grand entranve style hotel, but only one street away from trams, pubs, coffee shops and food. All within the free tram zone, which is an excellent service the city of Melbourne provides. Also leas than 2 mins walk to the old trolle tram 35 - melbournes tourism tram - also free - go melbourne

I think I have stayed in better 4 start hotels than this. The room was ok but there was hair on the pillow. The arm chair had a stain, the bathroom was too old, some motels would have better bathrooms, paint chipping off, and the body wash was empty. I called room service 6 times and it remained answered, i complained while checking out to Maleeka, she apologised but didn’t seem to care much.

There was an issue with the light beside my bed that made it unable to turn off all night, which could not be fixed until the next day and really affected my sleep. Other than that it was very clean and comfortable with a great pool.

Family was looking forward to buffet breakfast, but it was quite small and only average. Hotel faces a carpark. For the price we paid, it did not feel like a 4.5 star hotel. The common areas felt cramped and unimpressive. Nothing was bad, but we did feel disappointed for the price we paid and what we were expecting.
