The IBIS Budget hotel is a bare-bones property. But that's not a bad thing. It is ideally placed within easy walking distance to Melbourne Airport with clear signage all the way. I think the USD$150 might be a bit steep but after 40 hours of traveling - it didn't bother me too much. The breakfast was exactly what I needed. The best part of this property was the staff. Nice, efficient and helpful. Who could ask for more? I think the

Room was small and basic, walls thin so you could hear traffic on adjacent road and people leaving for early flights. Breakfast included and was good. Well situated within easy walking distance of terminals.
