You, Expedia. You guys, didn't inform us that the resort is under maintenance. We were only informed by the staff there, when we arrived, that they do not accept bookings since they are closed or under maintenance since last year. The pool, one of the reasons why we booked, for the kids' request, was under maintenance. In short, no swimming. So why offer this resort on your site? We'll appreciate if you coordinate with Paradise Ranch to expedite our refund asap. Thank you.

Never again

Posted 5 Jul 2018 on Ebookers
Pros: great location, beautiful and unspoiled by development.
Location: Zoo a 5 minute walk down the track it's a good day out, night time show was great. Food at the zoo is basic but more choice than hotel.
The rooms are poorly maintained, pool water was dirty more white bits in it than i care to think about, green algae on the steps and around the edge. Food, quality not bad but only 4 different meals on rotation 2 each day. Bar was closed for renovation, most shops were also closed, over priced water and ice creams are the only thing on sale. This was a big problem as you are half way up a mountain/hill a good 40 minutes drive from nearest shopping mall Zip line for kids was never maned and the huge fiberglass movie character were broken.

A Rocky Road Trip

Posted 20 Jun 2018 on Hotels
With its budget offer, I really wouldn’t expect much. So the overall impression is OK or more. The only thing I want to say is the road to the park. This road enables me to know the true meaning of ‘Rocky Road’. So my only advice is that if the park really want to be more popular, do something to the roads first.

Calvary voyage to paradise....

Posted 11 Jun 2018 on Hotels
I supposedly celebrate my birthday last June 8 but we decided to leave the premises early morning because we were not comfortable. The bed sheets are not clean, the house is dark and upon entering the house i have negative vibes, i felt hard on breathing when I got inside the room that's why i choose to stay at the sala. The funniest was, we thought there's a guard on duty 24/7. Me and my husband went to a wedding party and went back to paradise ranch at 10pm. No one opened the gate. It takes time before it was opened. Scary experience....

Poor facilities

Posted 12 Dec 2017
The airconditioner was noisy. The water in the bathroom floor was stagnant. The lights were dim. Rough road going to the hotel.

secluded place

It was farther than expected. I wouldn't mind the distance if the road is smooth. However it was so bumpy and muddy. It is perfect if you want a quiet place and be closer to nature though...

Thank you for your review. The management and the government particularly the LGU is already working with the rehabilitation of the road going to our place. We hope to see you again at Paradise Ranch. .

Great time in Paradise

Amazing stay. It was all in one trip. You get to enjoy the nature, swim all you want and really compose your thoughts back again. Everything's great. From place to worker's, really good.

Rundown and isolated

Posted 15 Feb 2017 on Hotels
Paradise Ranch has so much potential but sadly is NOT the place to stay if you have other options. Pros: Staff try to accommodate but lack managerial support and logistics. Located within forest, pleasantly cool. Near Zoocobia. Cons: Had to wait 30 minutes at reception area before room was ready. Dormitory room (San Rafael) had only 1 light bulb as a light source so it was gloomy. Main door made of glass panels so we had to ask for curtains to ensure our privacy. TV had a green tint which could not be remedied. Electric shower heater did not work and staff could not repair it. Bathroom door not fitted properly. Only toilet paper provided. No towels and toiletries. Thin mattress, lumpy pillows. Noisy air conditioner. Parking area not clearly demarcated so we had to ask other occupants to vacate our parking space. Pool needed cleaning. Poolside lights not turned on at dusk. Restaurant offered only 3 choices of boodles. Spa services not available. Overall, it needed better management and overall sprucing up, which they were aware of as they had posted signs "Investors wanted" all over the grounds.

Our Not-so-Paradise Experience

Posted 12 Feb 2017 on Hotels
The location is very accessible via SCTEX. The road, though, is not yet cemented and will give your car a very rough time. The official number on their website is not a business number. No one is answering my call. We experienced brownout. No phone line inside their cabins to make phone calls and the main office is very far to go to. Actually, everything is far from each other and will require you to walk long roads or drive. Also, the vicinity is not well-lit. Only few light bulbs are available as a "lamp". Everything else is lighted by torches. At first glance, you will think this is an abandoned place.

House cleaning services was very poor. It was hard to get in touch with the front desk. Our room was not checked for any amenities we needed.
