The parking offered for an additional fee is many blocks away in an unsafe zone. The parking we ended up paying for is right next to Venice suites but it was very expensive to park overnight. We kept having to go all the way around the building to enter because the hotel card keys kept getting demagnetized (while being in pockets with nothing else in them). Only one of our keys ever worked for the room door. I also wasn’t informed until after I had already booked that there was no air conditioning available. Thankfully it wasn’t that hot while we were in Venice, so the ceiling fan sufficed. However, I can see it being a problem if you end up staying there during a heat wave.

Noisy at night. Can hear people stomping around upstairs. Bedding fair, not great. Good location for boardwalk access.

I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights in an ocean front view room. Pros: -location -views -cleanliness -has netflix (living room area only) -basic kitchen tools for cooking/eating. -rooftop patio (very nice to hang out, watch the sunset and do bbq). Cons: -no A/C, so summer time you might not enjoy it. Although it has a ceiling fan in the bedroom, mine was a little noisy. -not soundproof, you can hear footsteps from the suite above and the noise outside the building. -if you like hot showers like i do, sorry to dissappoint. Overall: -i did enjoy my stay. Very satisfied with the place and suite i booked. I'm definitely coming back. The cons I wrote, didn't really bother me as much since i'm a night owl. That was why I'm still giving them a 5 star! 😁 Was also able to check-in early (room was ready) since my flight was in the morning.

Pros and Cons Venice Suites

Pros - absolutely loved the location Pretty quiet overall Bed was comfortable Rooftop area was pleasant to watch the sunset Cons - poor electrical in our space lights kept flickering and at one point the toaster oven heated up and caught fire when we never even used it ? Kitchen cabinets were in rough shape Our heat did not work in the room and it was chilly Walls were very dirty they desperately needed painting Even though it was a suite there was not much for cooking Which was why we wanted to stay there Water was off an entire day while we stayed so we had to shower at a friends house I’m hoping we were just in an older part of the building and there are better rooms For the $$$ I felt it should have been a bit more The rooms in the photographs look amazing, I probably should have asked to switch rooms. Hindsight.
