Only recommendation would be to have small coffee maker in hotel room

Room layout and lighting I found odd. Had to request a coffee makers but did get one when I asked.

Let me start by saying we did end up having a good response from the hotel, and our issues were fixed(refunded). However, the issues should never have been there in the first place. I don't know if they are genuinely trying to trick people with the rooms they book, or if it was an Expedia double booking rooms situation. But we did not have a good experince at this hotel. It should have been the best 3 nights of our trip, we paid for the best room in the hotel, the Executive King Suite. Upon check in we were given our keys, brought to our room, and quickly discovered it was not what we had paid for. The room should have had a separate seating area and a LARGE balcony. Honestly the balcony was the main selling point of the room for me. We knew there would be renos ongoing at the property, but were fine to overlook them as we had a beautiful, freshly renovated room. I went to the desk to let them know it wasn't the right room, so they put us in another, slightly bigger room. When I complained I was told that the photos of the suites were misleasing and that "all of the executive rooms are the same", which is absoltely NOT the case. We stood on the balcony of the second room we were put in, and looked down into the balcony I had booked and paid for. A 300, 330, and 560 square foot room are not the same, I paid for the biggest and was put in the smallest, then told the room we did book was unavailable. Be wary you get what you pay for, even had to pay for wifi!

The room was spacious and beautiful and the staff was helpful. It was a bit annoying that I paid for a late checkout and after verifying twice with the front desk that I would be checking out late, I still received a knock at the door asking why I was still in the room. It wasn’t until after I open the door that the gentleman decided to look at the paperwork that said that I had a late check out., The showerhead also needs cleaning. The water pressure was really poor as a result lime scale deposits. The hotel itself is really lovely and I would love to come back once the lobby is finished.

We had a very disappointing stay. We were warned about renovations but not to the scale we endured. The entire property was pretty much off limits, including direct access to the boardwalk and beach, which was one reason we chose the property. The room was fine but nothing like what we paid for. I was surprised the site was kept open, or at least not significantly discounted for the inconvenience caused. Would not go back
