Restaurant staff treated our family poorly. Cold coffee, waitress with black pony tail would get upset when we asked for necessary items such as forks, creamer and it got worse from there.

The hotel is great. I can only say 1 thing, why there is no lockbox in the rooms? Everything else is perfect!.

Front desk's Jasmine was wonderful, 5 star hospitality! Cute lobby transformed old business hotel to modern ish boutique vibe. Rooms still corporate feel, but not a bad thing. Some cute art & 1 hilarious. In room fridge & Starbucks great! Was told hotel was renovated 2 yrs ago. Lobby reflects it, hallways too. Room huge, clean, safe & bedding awesome! Though 3 pillows on beds, not 2, not 4. Odd? Room cld also use refresh like carpet shampoo & reglazed? tub floor w/safety strips (great!) but discoloration makes them appear dirty. Crooked light switch in bathroom & sad little wallpaper patch diy. Shower curtain 99 cents store vibe. Locked refillable shampoo, etc. felt cheap, though eco great. All fine, but detracts from otherwise thoughtful details. Housekeeping staff were wonderful! *Pool not for relaxing, music blasting.* *Do not pay extra for balcony* Second floor room had decent balcony reflecting age of hotel....nothing renovated except maybe addition of two wood chairs. Earlier in the day I was able to check out a different Basement/"first floor" room cool with really cool space except "balcony" not a balcony. It was a sliding door to what seemed like a dark, sketchy claustrophobic alleyway adjacent to but underneath pool area. Loud, odd, no sun. Overall very good stay. If you skip markup for sad balcony, great walkable area, great service and spacious, clean, safe rooms. Solid hotel for price point.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back for another stay. The rooms were very clean. I really liked the old movie theme throughout the hotel. The Lin Chaney Phantom of the Opera was playing in the lobby. Very cool.
