The staff was very friendly and helpful. Athena especially made us feel very welcome. I would stay again at anytime!!

Whilst the rooms are compact, the bed was very comfortable! No iron but they have a hairdryer and a small fridge. Blinds, lighting, TV etc are all controlled by the iPad/app which worked most of the time. The air conditioning/heating is centrally managed so we were very hot in our room (even though it was approx 20 degrees Celsius outside) as the AC was not turned on. Not sure what the room would be like on warmer days - I’d hate to have no AC on a 30 degree day!!
We stayed in a room with a view of the Tower of London which was cool. We also stayed again in a room with a street view. Both rooms were identical (except for the view).
I travelled with my partner, so the weird little shower/toilet in the opaque pod in the middle of the room was ok for us - it might be a bit awkward for couples who aren’t comfortable with sharing bowel movement noises etc. though.
Didn’t use the dining facilities but they looked great. We had cocktails on the rooftop bar which was fun - great view but very expensive drinks. Check in and check out were easy - self-managed in the reception kiosk and one or two staff were available to help if needed. Baggage storage service was great too!
The hotel sits above the Tower Hill tube station, so it’s very convenient! Conveniently located over the road from the Tower of London too. A few pubs and shops nearby and Borough Market was a 15 min walk. Very quiet rooms - pretty sure they’re soundproofed as we didn’t hear any street noise or neighbours.
