Nice hotel in a great location. Paid for an upgraded room which apart from a bigger bed and access to a lounge, it wasnt anything special. Apart from that its a great location for the waterside and 10 min walk to shops and attractions etc. Swimming pool on site was good but very busy (lots of kids too). Staff all were excellent.

No smile or welcoming words from the young lady receptionist. Late lunch in the lounge area was
pleasant but two young men, one sprawled out on the settee, were attended to by another young lady member of your staff, who obviously knew him well, for the whole time we were there. She was on duty so not really a professional front for the hotel! Room was chilly but couldn’t get the air con to work. Maintenance finally managed to get a flow of warmish air having removed ceiling tiles to check. Bath would not run hot in the morning and took 20 mins to fill using the shower head as it would not switch off but was running hot! After some fiddling we did manage to get the main tap flow working independently but not the calm morning experience I was looking forward to. Excellent breakfast, generous booking in/out times and easy parking.

I loved the breakfast, the staff, the location. The pool was great, but could do with a little more cleaning around the side. It was a lovely facility to have, please clean a little more though!
