Needs an update. It was clean but very old. Advertised and ocean view. But it was jus the bay. I'd stay again..it was comfortable

Okay, I booked this hotel for our anniversary during out coastal drive. Looking at the pictures and reviews, I thought it would be a nice place. Well when you got there, rooms are old and not the cleanest place. It is expensive for what you get. Also we were about to go out for a walk and the front desk lady at the time did'nt sound too happy. All we heard was about water leak and she passed my little daughter swearing on the phone. Very unprofessional but i also get she was frustrated. Its a conversation to be had in the office, not walking down the hallway. But the breakfast was great. We loved being able to have some fresh waffles, coffee and yogurt before we hit the road. Also it was a bonus to get to play in the sand and walk by the water close to our room. Another thing, it is by residential condos, so when they are doing late night fires we could not leave the windows open. People do stay up very late, so can hear them chatting away.That is something to remember when booking.

If you like firm beds this place is for you. In the middle of the night I was so uncomfortable I considered going to sleep in my car. The cloth furniture was heavily stained. The wood furniture was totally beat up. They had painted recently and there were still bits of painters tape everywhere. No water pressure in the shower at all. The breakfast, was English muffins and store bought bagels in ziplocks. Overall tacky. Had a nice view of the water and bay, but the rest. Ugg.

Property is run down. Looks disgusting. Doors busted and dont latch. Called me 4 times prior to arrival wondering what time we would be there. Then called requiring i do payment over phone prior to arrival or they would give our rooms away.
