The Magani was a great hotel to introduce us to Bali. It’s located in Kuta, although Expedia claims it to be in Seminyak (it’s not). But it’s okay. We found the area around Magani to be full of restaurants and shops all within 10-15 min walk which was great to try new foods. We also liked the beach being a 5 min walk away. The hotel itself is nice and modern, clean and safe. It isn’t the most extravagant hotel but it does all the basics well. Would recommend for the price.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Accidentally left my wallet in the room after checkout and they let me know that they found it and are happy to keep it safe for me until my friend goes to Bali next month.

Great location, staff were super friendly and attentive. Bathrooms in the rooms starting to look dated and a little run down. Towels in the room were old and frayed. Was noisy at times could always hear outside street traffic. For the price it was an overall good stay 😊

We enjoyed our stay at the Magani. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room with a private plunge pool. The added extra price of AU$30 per day for the plunge pool I feel was a bit expensive. At one point we spoke to reception staff about staying on for an extra 2 nights which they quoted us a price for but felt it was expensive.We then booked elsewhere and then 2 nights before leaving they quoted us a much cheaper price to stay on. They lost our business because they were being greedy. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.
