The staff and great tasting food truly make this property shine. You can tell that everyone who is apart of the retreat genuinely cares about the customer experience. The rooms themselves are a little dated (as the remodeling sign says). The hotel location is perfect for hiking during the day and there’s plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower. Compared to camping, this is a 10/10 experience.

Such a lovely lodge but really in need of renovation. The LV craft fair was there when we arrived so that made it fun, but all the rearranged furniture and outdoor patio left very little space to enjoy. We mostly just stayed in the room. But the views and hiking were beautiful!!

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. We stayed in the Presidential Suite. The kitchen had no silverware, dishes, glasses, paper towels, nor soap. The tv directions were impossible to follow. The bathroom soap was the size of a 50 cent piece. There was no rubber mat for the slippery tub. We had to ask for additional chairs and coffee for the second morning. The restaurant was adequate. The advertised music for Friday evening didn’t happen. Would we say there for our anicersary again - probably not.

Property location beautiful. Rooms need updating. Paint bathroom and grounds. Pet friendly yet no dedicated areas for dogs. All areas covered with wood chips and dirt. Not good for pets paws.
