The pics on the site is nothing compared to the hotel itself. No frig to put anything in not even a coffee pot. One plug didn’t work as I tried it and seen it has a trip guard on it but when I tried to reset it it kept tripping so I couldn’t plug anything in. The wiring for the plug on one side of the bed worked as for the other plug under the widow worked until you hit the light switch that needs to change. For the area well could have bin better someone’s window was broken on their vehicle so I cleaned my entire truck out so nobody would break into. Had people smoking on the walkways by there door which there was suppose to be no smoking on the promises had to go across the street if you wanted to smoke. Came the last night of stay I went to south point to get my team mates bowling balls and I got back to the hotel as my fiancée was sleeping and the whole room smelled like pot it was coming through the vent from having the air on. So I woke her and we went for a walk downtown hoping that the air was on high to see maybe it would suck the smell out well we got back it smelled even worse like someone was actually in the room smoking weed but it was coming from the fan in The bedroom so next time I’m in for nationals for bowling I would not pick this for my stay and I do not recommend this stay to anyone.

This is third stay for me at the Downtowner. Fantastic staff, clean rooms, AC and lots of hot water! Dee and Company are just amazing!!!

Older hotel but very clean and well run! Staff and amenities were super accommodating and fabulous! Will stay again on our next trip to old Vegas.

We liked the location of this hotel as it was within walking distance to Fremont Street but were a little disappointed as to the lack of basic amenities like no refrigerator or small coffee pot in our room or a outlet in the bathroom to plug in a hair dryer . Also the "Air Conditioner" did not work very well. I didn't put out any kind of air flow and didn't make for a good night as it was hot in the room We talked the person at the front desk the first night around 9pm and she contacted the maintenance person and said they would come by and check on it. About a hour and half went by and nobody had showed up. I went back to let them know and asked if they had a fan which they did. She was very nice by the way. We were expecting a little bit more since this place was priced a little bit more then other ones we looked at that were further away from Fremont St but had more basic amenities. We will likely stay at a casino or another hotel next time and just get a Uber to Fremont St.

Little motel establishment. Renovated nicely. Had putting greens onsite. Easy walk to Fremont Experience and others.
