Fantastic property, very quiet and relaxing,we had a great weekend away, great food in laguna, was a win win all the way around

Luxurious property and amenities. The staff are excellent, polite and can answer every inquiry. The rooms are well appointed. It is a very lovely setting.

I loved the quiet and woodsy feeling away from the busy touristy streets , yet at walking distance from shops and restaurants. Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. In particular, the bed sheets were very comfortable and silky feeling. We loved the complimentary long robes and slippers.. the staff was friendly and helpful.

Like you mentioned, the resort offers the best of both worlds with being secluded in the canyon (along with beach access), but also close enough to shops and restaurants! This was a 1 night getaway for us (we're locals), so we wanted a quiet place with good on-site dining. What we got was maintenance noise starting at 7:03 am which sounded like a truck was backing up into our room (for 25 non-stop minutes!) We tried all the food options on-site were served very average food, including in a very noisy Harvest restaurant- which sounded more like a Bar. Also, we noticed at night when we walked around that most of the rooms were empty. If the staff would have had any consideration at all - knowing that they are preparing for an event and that there would be noise around the building we stayed - they should have set us up in another building farther away and maybe with a view better than the opposing buidlings old air conditioning units. If the room itself was not nice we would have given this a 1 star because they really failed in everything else!
