I've stayed here several times now over the last 30 years. There are better hotels around for sure but The Grand Margherita is consistently a good standard. Try and get one of the newer refurbished rooms, my last stay was in one of the older rooms (8th floor) and it's sadly in need of some TLC. Still adequate but could do with updating

the photo of the room is not same as the actual room. the armchair was missing as a result the room has a big empty space. The shower low pressure. Furniture a bit worn out.

Very nicely located. Great access to a number of traditional kopitiams. Hotel is nice, but a little dated. Could use an overall upgrading

Hotel was dated and carpet not really cleaned. Fridge wasnt working and leaking water. Buffet breakfast was not too bad.

Great location and it did not take long to check in. Room was comfy and decent view. Accommodations were on point. P
