Disappointed during the check in
Posted 14 May 2017 on HotelsWe have been spend more than 30mins for my relative check in which the check in personnel not allow my relative to check in during their stay even the guest name & IC number are correct as they keep mentioned our booking number incorrect with their number was given by hotels.com . Eventually, is the hotel check in personnel not familiar with the policy / procedures with hotels.com.

my online booking via expedia was not honored
Posted 28 Aug 2016I was not allowed to check in and was told the room that i booked was taken. According to the staff he cannot entertain online booking as the hotel's internet was down. I even offered to take a larger room with additional payment but was not accepted. The staff insisted that i booked another larger room and pay in full, eventhough my credit card was already charged for the online booking. After about 1 hour of attempts to negotiating on my part, l checked in into a neighboring hotel which is a lot nicer and have polite staffs too. My call to expedia was also put on hold and was passed to hotel.com, and expedia (not malaysian) without any solution. Total time of my call was more than 28 minutes! This would be my last time using your service and also 1 hotel.

Posted 8 Jun 2016room sound proofing is terrible. All rooms are smoking room, so expect full blown of cigarette smell even coming from outside of the room (poor insulation). Most of door latch is broken ( i changed 3 rooms to get a room with proper latch). Bed sheets, pillow, towel and blanket are dirty and unhygienic. I do not even dare to use the towel.
