Lovely hotel in perfect location
Posted 26 Mar 2023 on HotelsThe Jesselton is in Gaya Street in the heart of KK. It is the perfect location for exploring the city, with everything within walking distance.
The hotel is probably the oldest in KK, but the rooms are comfortable and fairly modern. Everything in the hotel is of high quality, and well maintained. The Jesselton harks back to more elegant times .
There is no ding room, but there is an endless selection of restaurants close by. What was the restaurant is now a rather good sushi restaurant.
The lack of a swimming pool wasn't a problem for us as we only stayed a few days.

If you require all the modern convenient appliances and sky bars and restaurants. Do not book this hotel if you just want a nice room and old fashioned civility this is the place for you
