Beautiful grounds and easy beach access. Didn’t like 3 sets of stais to our room. High hidden cleaning fees.

This our 2nd time at Kiahuna Plantation. We are experienced travelers that don't want or need to be "pampered", so we like the ability to have a kitchen and cook local foods, and the opportunity to do our own planning of our vacation experience.
This isn't the fanciest place, but by comparison it is a good value. The grounds are beautiful and the beach is better, bigger and less crowded than Poipu Beach (which is also easily accessible by walking).
If you want an all-inclusive, upscale "resort" experience this probably isn't for you, but if you want a comfortable, well-located base for your adventures with a great beach, give it a try. We recommend it to our friends that are visiting Kauai.
This time we were near the east access road, and it was noisy at times with trucks, equipment etc. Request a unit in the middle or the west side of the 35 acre site.

The unit has NO air conditioning (as of May 2024). I somehow missed this detail when booking and it made for a fairly uncomfortable night. The ceiling fans help, but after a long day in the sun, a 75-degree room just doesn't cut it. The unit is also very dated in terms of furniture, decor, amenities, etc.
On the plus side, location is great and grounds were beautiful. The staff could not have been nicer.

There is no air conditioner so in the afternoon the condo would reach close to 90 degrees if the sun was shining.
Furniture old,shabby and uncomfortable.
For the price this rental is not worth it.

This condo was perfect. We had everything we needed. Bed was very comfy. Kitchen was great. Lanai is big and we enjoyed eating out there and listening to the birds early am. Shopping across the street was easy and convenient and walkable. Parking was super easy and convenient and at no extra charge. Definitely would come back and recommend. Mahalo🌈

The property was very clean and staff very friendly. It was a pleasure to walk through meticulously maintained garden to the beach. Our condo was very spacious equiped with all beach accesories.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We have 3 children and they loved it here. The walk to the beach was very short, the little trails on the property were so fun for the kids! The property is beautiful and very well kept and maintained.

This is a beautiful green/lush resort so close to the beach and restaurants/shops.
I have stayed here twice and would definitely return.....

The condo was tired and needing updating. There were noisy neighbors and the nearby Sheraton hotel had outdoor luau’s that were very loud.
The beach was nearby though. Parking was not good.
