Thought the activities at the hotel were a plus and the outdoor area was great. Lots of construction at the time.9

The staff was great. We loved the water bottles and water station. It is a little dated and our partial ocean view was only seen when you cracked your whole head to the side, but it was clean and convenient. It was perfect for a short stay.

Should have kamaaina rates. Costs are crazy but we had a roof. Smiles

Property is old and has alot of construction going on around it. I could not hear the construction from my room luckily but it was difficult to get to the parking. Room was fairly clean, however I had experiences with 3 different bugs on 2 different days.
The gym area was pretty nice and looked newer remodel. Front desk wasn't friendly.

Room was very tiny and, while not dirty, was not necessarily what we’d consider clean. 2 cockroaches in room, crawling on bathroom floor.
Rooms are loud and can hear people in hallways, as well as cars driving by, etc.
In our opinion, not worth the price we paid, nor did it align with the photos online.

We wanted to support a local Maui hotel on this visit, and Maui Beach Hotel is that, plus very convenient for us in terms of access to excellent dining and sightseeing. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, and the front desk staff was very efficient and accommodating to us. Even with the construction going on next door, we found it pleasant and not too noisy. If we have the opportunity to return to Maui, our first choice for a hotel would be Maui Beach Hotel.
