Room wasn’t the one I booked, WiFi signal wasn't strong enough to reach my room, fridge wasn’t working/turned off, as there was moldy butter from previous traveller. Just a disappointing stay, but it is in a remote location, so better than sleeping on the side of the road.

my apologies for your disappointment. Wi fi is out of my hands but that is what we live with here and very difficult to run a business which live by it. the fridge, buck stops with me and now that i know i will follow up on roster to find the person who missed that area of cleaning and if you can find me 3 more staff great but must have one credential which is honesty. many thanks for input.

Two Quiet Nights
Posted 20 Jan 2024 on HotelsWe were in Room 10, far enough away from the dining room not to have internet but we didn't mind. Internet was strong down in dining room. Our room was large and very comfortable. Bed and pillows great. AC worked really well against the humidity. We enjoyed dinner each night on site, the food was tasty and well presented. The continental breakfast was complimentary, with hot items at cost.
Would recommend.

Highly recommend, a hidden treasure

The room was large, bed very comfortable with tea & coffee facilities in our room.
The host was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee’s, the evening meal was delicious.
The Lodge is set in beautiful bush surroundings, such a pleasure to be greeted in the mornings by the in house chook & roaster, parrots and rosellas.
Highly recommend you stay, when visiting Hill End at gorgeous historical town.

CATERING IS HARD AT HILL END. MOST TIMES WE ARE GOOD BUT BEING HUMAN WE NOW AND AGAIN ARE HUMAN AND MESS AND WE ALSO LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT THOSE OCCASIONS
