The lodge was lovely. We had a double room ensuite The only negative was the noise. The lodge was a light build and not very sound proof. Could hear the sounds of flushing toilets and moving objects

There are plan's under way for some major renovations which will address this inconvenience.

Lovely atmosphere, but noisy room above
Posted 12 Sep 2023 on HotelsLovely atmosphere. Room 12 - there is a room above, noise travels straight through, they were very noisy from 6am. Ceiling fan needs repair, only the highest speed works.

Quaint eco friendly lodge
Posted 20 Aug 2023 on HotelsThe room was small but very comfortable & quaint, with a nice en suite, comfy mattress & heater Unfortunately the noise from other guests was the cause of a very restless night. Room 12 was where we stayed. Would stay again but potentially in a different room. Checkin was friendly & helpful.

We're sorry to hear other guests did not respect our request and continued to be noisy. We can accommodate room requests if you should choose to stay at the Woolshed again.
