Firstly after using the toilet there was no soap dispenser provided. Secondly the basin was severely cracked . Noisy and staff didn’t have the facts when asked. Staff in the morning restaurant were rude. Will never recommend this place to anyone

What a wonderful and cozy place! The staff was attentive and kind and the room was comfortable and clean. The hot tub and pool were a great addition!

This is stunning hotel with beautiful artwork, excellent bedding, interesting interiors etc. Unfortunately the staff are disengaged lack the service and skills you expect from a hotel of this standard. Staff at the lobby bar; left us waiting for our drinks, had to investigate where our drinks were. I genuinely felt staff just couldn’t be bothered - this was noticeable at the reception, bar and even the restaurant. The food was divine but again the service staff let it down, we won’t come again.

We were not able to check in or stay at the property due to power outage and now the property is refusing to give a refund.

Hi Shahed, Unfortunately, as you mentioned, the power outage was a situation beyond our control and this was restored shortly after you decided to leave. Checking in and staying at the Hotel was as any other day, and we understand it was your decision to leave and also agreed to have a credit note issued to you. We completely understand your frustration you may feel about not receiving a refund. But you were made aware that a refund will not be applicable as you decided to leave on your own. Perhaps because it is an old place, it had a very special feel, and the slightly dark lobby felt really comfortable, so I wanted to stay one more day. The design of the room was stylish and very clean and unique. Watching a Netflix movie with my husband on bed was a great time. I will come again

Ambience and service were top notch. As our anniversary weekend escape the hotel and dining experience was perfect. Ability to begin the day with a refreshing swim and spa while enjoying the gorgeous surrounds completed our special weekend.
