Room was great! Lots of room and very clean. I didn't feel that we were welcomed well, and nobody was there when we dropped the key off. The motel isn't particularly accessible to restaurants etc, you need to drive. Lots of things to see in the area and close to New Plymouth.

Thank you Bryony-Most of the motels in Hawera are on Waihi road and yes you do have to drive to get to a restaurant but it's no more than a 5 min drive,There is one only 5 min walk away and it was open.I do apologise if you feel you weren't welcomed well enough it was not intentional

Liked location, ease of booking, friendly staff, very well stocked kitchen equip, variety teas and coffee supplied, sunny room,
Comfortable bed and blanket, cushions, two comfortable lounge chairs, lovely bathroom with plenty hand, body and hair wash in despenses, super clean.
TV a litte small to see for those with poor vision..

Great place to stay
Posted 14 Jan 2024 on HotelsFabulous quiet room, even though we were in a room close to the entrance. It was very well equip, even including Iron, zip frypan and toaster oven! Highly recommend.
