The reception said booking was made for NO breakfast. Showed them my wotif booking which clearly says ‘Included amenities: Free breakfast’, they didn’t understand the meaning…

Great choice
Posted 4 Jul 2020 on HotelsWonderful hotel. Amazing views of the lake, very good breakfast with a good mixture of Western and Eastern choices, nice outdoor pool (indoor not as nice). Happy to find such a place relatively close to Shanghai. The floor manager Stanley was really helpful and friendly as were all the staff. Be aware that the cheaper lake view rooms may be near a main road that makes being on the balcony less enjoyable. The grand lake view rooms are quiet though. The food selection and drink selection is not as wide as in Hilton's elsewhere in the world, but for the situation of the hotel I was content enough with what was on offer. Be sure to take the boat trip out to the cable car for a postcard view of the lake.

Beautiful but not the best service
Posted 22 Jul 2019 on HotelsBeautiful place but it was very slow for July. None of the restaurants were open. Finding English speakers was hard. There seemed to be no activities going on besides going to the pool. Ordering room service was super hard because of the non English speaking.

Nice view with warm staff. Had a small issue with Yiping Ge overcharging dinner bill, but was solved quickly. Overall it was a nice stay.

Luxry hotel with less staff

Pros: The room is terrific, the views of lakes looks great.
Cons: The service should be improved. I sitting in coffee room for 20 minutes, nobody come to me even I requested a waiter, no one coming, really strange.
Location: Prices are expensive in this small town.
This a very luxry hotel with excellent views of Qiandao Lake. Clean, comfortable, but too noisy with local people. The numbers of hotel staff seems not enough to service so many guests, special in holiday.
In a word, not too bad for vacations.

Holiday caos
Posted 26 Feb 2015 on HotelsNot very nice, tool me 30 min to check in and 55 min to check out cars parked every where and the food seams old. The breakfast was like a camp no service and the service I had was bad I ask the chef for omelet and then after 10 min he still giving the food to Chinese so I felt really bad?

Location: next to thousand islands lake.
Enjoyed this hotel very much. Nice view, new building, friendly staff. We took a small private jet and it cost 1800 Yen for two islands that we visited (plus tickets to those islands). It's a pity however that there was no entertaining bar, even on Christmas Eve. The rooms we stayed were located on non-smoking floor, but however, there was slightly smell of cigarettes in the corridor and found a cigarette bud in the toilet when we first checked in. Apart from that, we love this hotel and will visit it again.
