We arrived to Hyatt regency hakone and were immediately escorted in and were told they were waiting for us. From that moment on, it was nothing but first class treatment from the entire staff. It was an incredible experience and the staff experience alone should make people run here in droves!! It sadly rained (4.5 inches in one day alone) while we were there but the staff was always helpful with information, alternative advice, and wonderful smiles. Would definitely recommend as they went above and beyond.

The most beautiful luxurious spacious scenic hotel I have ever stayed at! Take full advantage of the onsen, and spa treatments. The breakfast was unbelievable…staff impeccable and every ammenity imaginable was available.
A must-stay…Highly recommend!

The staff was exceptional from the shuttle drivers to the front desk staff. The proximity to the cable car was also great as there was convenient access to the amazing gondola (they call it the “ropeway”).

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. We loved that they offered a free shuttle to areas around the hotel.

The shuttle service is very nice and it is a beautiful property. The ambiance and service is first class upon arrival and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The food we had was delicious but not different from room service and limited day time options. The onsen is great but people should teach their children to be quiet in the spa area. The only negative on service was we came in from the cold rain at 2:30, asked for the living room fire to be turned on in living room and were told no. For a high end property like this, it’s nice to cater to client needs if it’s reasonable (not sure an extra hour of fire going should be a big deal, but maybe it’s just me!)
