This is a great property to stay at if you’re looking to unwind / relax. It is a bit hard to get to given it is located in the mountains, but it’s definitely worth the trip. The property itself boasts two onsens (one with an infinity bath and the other in nature with views of a waterfall). Some of the rooms also have their own private baths (which are worth the extra bit of money if you ask me). The accomodation is a bit aged but still pleasant and comfortable. The staff are extremely attentive (and always have special gold coins that can be used to get ice-cream from the ice-cream vending machines after using the onsens.) In terms of dining, the breakfast buffet was extensive but a bit underwhelming, especially if you have allergies (limited options). The dinner restaurants need to be booked well in advanced and are a bit pricey. Given the location of the property, if you’re not planning to eat at the property you should do some research on where to eat beforehand as the options are understandably limited given the properties location. I’d recommend a minimum and maximum 2 night stay at this property so you get the ability to experience both onsens and do some local exploring.

Beautiful hotel with clean rooms and nice space. Our view was amazing with the mountains, and the onsen in our room gave us privacy that we loved. Unfortunately we came on a rainy day, and the hotel wouldn't check us in until after 3, and there was nothing to do in the area.

This place was unbelievable. So beautiful. Food was incredible. Staff super friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing oasis just an hr and a half from tokyo.

Excellent hotel. You can have hot spring inside this hotel and even inside your room. Google view from your room and breakfast.

Loved the experience my boyfriend and I had there! The staff is very nice and the service was fast. Really enjoyed the hot springs, the massages, and the breakfast, and dinners. Will definitely go again!
