We stayed two nights here and absolutely loved it. The staff were helpful in guiding us on the many travel options up and over the mountains surrounding Grindelwald. The pool and steam rooms were great, and the on site food options delicious. Eating breakfast each morning overlooking the mountain backsroo was amazing. Highly recommend.

From the moment we stepped foot into this hotel we felt unwelcome. The staff were so rude and unhelpful, it was as if they were being held at gun point to work there! You would think with the prices they charge, they can atleast help with ours bags, but this wasn’t done either! The rooms had no kettles or tea provided (only cheap coffee pods) when asked if we can borrow a kettle they responded we need to pay $60 Franks to borrow one! We had an emergency come up and had to check out a day earlier - I paid extra for a flexible room I.e to not pay any cancellation fees etc however, they still charged me for the night I was wasn’t there and all they responded with was “can’t help read T&Cs” and rolled their eyes. Breakfast was standard, until I saw on the second day that one of the waitresses was putting someone’s plate of eggs back into the scrambled eggs pot!! I felt sick after seeing this. Hotel was packed and so loud. We went to their restaurant for dinner on our first night and it was by far the most disgusting and overpriced meal I had during my month in Europe. Overall our stay in Grindelwald to was horrible. Would not recommend, go to a smaller boutique in the area and support them!

Loved our stay here. Hotel had amazing views, an excellent breakfast and a very nice bar. Things in town closed early during shoulder season so we did like that the hotel had a place to hang out at night. There were large tour groups staying that could have impacted breakfast but the staff made it work and found extra seating when necessary. Spa and sauna needed a bit more instructions but was a nice option.

This place is amazing. Beautiful location. Stunning scenery. Quick walk from Grindelwald station. Right across from Grindelwald First Cable Car. The staff are all so helpful and friendly. Great amenities. Make sure you have a drink at the bar. Bartender Diogo will look after you. Great service and the best banter. Very welcoming and friendly and an asset to the hotel.

Extremely poor service and management. Do not stay.

The reception agent LIED and said our shuttle was "on the way" when it wasnt. My tired parents had to walk from station
Our friends room was also not cleaned up when they checked in.
When confronted, manager Mary-Ann offered us drink coupons. Laughable. Go stay at other neighbor hotels with same view.
