All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and the service unassuming and attentive. Staff will help with suggestions, and arranging any trips and activities you may want to do. Alternatively it is the perfect location to do very little. The food was delicious and dinner an experience itself.
We were in a lodge room which was so inviting and comfortable - especially the bed, with beautiful views over the lake.
The setting is idyllic, calm and peaceful. At night when the sky is clear you can see a million stars.
I had read the dinners were something special and they certainly were. You start with pre-dinner drinks and canapes and are shown the 5 course degustation menu for the night, with options to choose from for the main and dessert. Everything is beautifully presented and was delicious.
I couldn't fault a thing and we hope it won't be long before we can visit again.

Blanket Bay lodge is absolutely amazing, the staff are very friendly and nothing is a bother for them , the service is outstanding

PERFECT HOLIDAY TREAT
Posted 13 Oct 2020 on HotelsBlanket Bay is an absolute treat - we stayed for one night while on our trip to Queenstown - and it was just perfect. The staff are so attentive and nothing is too much bother - the rooms are divine and the bathroom gorgeous.
So - this is an easy 10 out of 10!!
